As the Pledges for Cartwheels fund raiser wraps up this week, I want to thank all of you who have made this a huge success! As of July 29 at 10:30 PM CST, the goal has been attained! The Ault Family adoption fund received $2,435 in online contributions and $385 in offline contributions for a total of $2,820! I've also heard of a few checks on their way in the mail, so I wouldn't be surprised if it goes even higher.
This means a couple of things. One, MaryAnn and Greg owe us more cartwheels this week while in Kaz! I hope that they packed costumes??? Second, I owe everyone a YouTube video of the action shots and spectator interviews we captured throughout the fundraiser. Most importantly, though, this means that there will be less of a financial burden on MaryAnn and Greg and they can focus more on getting to know their two new children.
I cannot forget to thank the photographers for their talent and time over the past two months. Without you, we would not have the priceless moments captured on film! A big shout out to Kim specifically as she and her family went above and beyond to continue the fund raiser into their neighborhood selling lemonade and baked goods on multiple occasions. What a great life lesson for the kids to be a part of!
Thanks again for your participation in this exciting new chapter for the Ault family. We are soooo looking forward to meeting the kids and bringing them into our family - we have a lot of love to give and can't wait to share it with them!
