Doctor, doctor, give me the news...

The Maple Grove Serial Cartwheelers struck again today, this time braving some potentially stormy weather. The scene was yet again a youth girls soccer game in Maple Grove. As the halftime whistle blew, the fearsome twosome invaded the field wearing doctors' scrubs. One witness thought she heard one of them ask, "Did someone call for a doctor?"


As has become customary, the male performed first, and as he finished, he announced very defiantly, "I am NOT a male nurse! I'm a surgeon.". Onlookers couldn't decide if he resembled McSteamy or McDreamy more.




The lady doctor, Meridith Grey, then took the stage, but mixed up her performance routine this time, as she seemed to run laps around the midfield circle before breaking out into her cartwheels. It was apparent that she was trying to avoid an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction. In spite of the crowd's cheers begging for the splits, she finished her routine with her signature ending, the Superstar move.




In a rare interview following the show, we asked Meridith if she's having a mid-life crisis and acting out to reclaim a childhood comfort. She exclaimed "I've heard that it's possible to grow up - I've just never met anyone who's actually done it.".
