I wanted to share with you what this duo of entrepreneurs is doing to earn money to put towards the cartwheel adoption fund. These sweet and thoughtful little girls, Ethel and Myrtle (not their real names, but I’ll bet they wish they were), had a cookie and lemonade stand earlier this week. They are friends of Megan and fellow soccer teammates. For their efforts in the hot sun, they earned $22! Unbelievable! Myrtle’s mom says they plan to do this a couple more times this summer to support the cause. Awww! (Let me also mention that the cookies were AWESOME!!! The chef, Kim, has bakery shop owners in her ancestral line!)
Ethel (on the left) is the girl who inspired the whole ‘cartwheels on the field’ idea in the first place. She’s been known to do a few cartwheels while the game is being played. :)
